Three Years

Three years my love - and you are and will always be in my heart.

All I can hope is that one day I will get to cradle you in my arms…

I know I had no choice but I will be forever haunted with the only decision I could make -methotrexate.

The poiniancy of this day falling on Babyloss Awareness Day will never be lost on me my darling and and as a light a candle for all my little ones and others too tonight- I’ll light a special one just for you.

We Remember Them

In the rising of the sun

and in its going down

we remember them

In the blowing of the wind

and in the chill of winter

we remember them

In the opening of the buds

and in the rebirth of spring

we remember them

In the blueness of the skies

and in the warmth of summer

we remember them

In the rustling of the leaves

and in the beauty of autumn

we remember them

In the beginning of the year

and when it ends

we remember them

When we are weary

and in need of strength

we remember them

When we are lost

and sick of heart

we remember them

When we have joys

and special celebrations we yearn to share

we remember them

So long as we live

they too shall live

for they are part of us.

by Rabbis Sylvan Kamens and Jack Riemer

I felt that poem was very touching at the act of remembrance in the sanctuary,

Sending you a big hug.
