Hi,
Has anyone been a similar situation?
I had my ectopic treated medically 2 months ago. Initially, the levels were falling nicely but now they are being static.
I am asymptomatic though.
Thanks

Hi DR1,
I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering from this ectopic pregnancy and loss. Ectopic pregnancies are physically and emotionally traumatic and can leave us with many questions. I will do my best to answer yours.
As I’m not medically qualified, I can not provide advice on the best course of action on the MTX. I encourage you to keep speaking with your doctors and asking as many questions as possible (it helps to write them down as you think of them and bring that paper with you to the appointment).
Please continue to look after yourself and prioritize yourself. We are here for you for as long as you need us.
With good wishes,
Michele

What happened in the end? Did HCG drop?
I have a beta around 20 for 4 weeks and also had my period. I didn’t find out if it was an ectopic or not.
Did anyone experience this?
Dear Dr1,
I am sorry to hear of your pregnancy loss. It can be very overwhelming not knowing what is going on with our bodies.
I am afraid i am unable to provide individualised medical advice, but it sounds as though you are experiencing a PUL (Pregnancy of Unknown Location). Whilst this is not a diagnosis, it is a term used until the exact location is found. It maybe that this may not be found with yourself as your hCG levels are low. As your levels have been static for some weeks, it would be worth speaking to your medical team. Whilst hCG levels do sometimes slow down and can look to be staying the same, this doesn’t usually last for a number of weeks. Seeking further medical advice, will hopefully provide you with some reassurance.
We will be here for you for as long as you need.
Sending much love,
Karen x
