Dear Fitz39,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
In the UK, women aren’t routinely offered testing to check tubes following any treatment for ectopic pregnancy. This includes expectant management and treatment by methotrexate injection where the pregnancy is gradually reabsorbed into the body.
Following ectopic pregnancy, we and many medical professionals advise waiting for two menstrual cycles before trying to conceive again as this allows time for your body to recover.
Unfortunately I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your queries and would advise speaking to your doctor’s for any in-depth information as they will have access to your personal medical notes.
Sending much love,
Karen x
