Remembering our loss

Hi everyone

Interested to hear what everyone has done to honour the pregnancies lost? We’ve just planted two apple trees, one for our lost and hopefully one for our future baby. It feels a bit silly but having somewhere to go and sit makes it feel better.

Hi there,

My hospital has offered us the remains of our baby after histopathology for a family burial. We plan to do this at our home and plant a cherry blossom tree. I think trees are a lovely way to remember - the cycle of life and the knowledge that the tree will be there long after we are gone. I’m looking forward to having somewhere to go too…

Dear Firstecpreg,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,

We hear from many women who honour lost pregnancies and babies in a variety of ways from planting trees to tattoos. I personally have a charm bracelet and a charm with the birthstone for my baby. I also buy a beautiful bunch of flowers on our anniversary.

I would suggest doing something that is personal and beautiful to you.

Sending warm hugs and much love,

Karen x
