I had methotrexate 11 weeks ago and then 48 hours later I had my right tube removed due to a rupture and internal bleeding.
I have a feeling I am pregnant. I have been taking 5mg of folic acid daily Since June and my most recent blood tests showed my folate level as very good. But I still can’t help but panic.
I had my first period 4 weeks from the day of the op. And my second period 4 weeks later. I’ve always had very regular cycles
Has anyone else got pregnant sooner than the recommended 2cycles/3months.
Thanks for reading x
Hi Shanmurray12,
I would definitely encourage you to take a pregnancy test to find out if you are pregnant. It is not unheard of to be pregnant before the 3 months marker. It is a suggestion that the Trust and other medical professionals provide to wait that long before ttc in order to resume your periods and for physical and emotional healing. Many women feel nervous about future pregnancies after suffering ectopic pregnancies. Taking a home pregnancy test will provide you information in order to get proper medical care.
With good wishes,
Michele
