Hi everyone. New here and looking for some advice. I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago (14/11) a week later I had some brown discharge/blood on my pants, I worried and went for an early private scan, they couldn’t see anything and advised I was maybe too early. That night the blood turned bright red and continued for a few days with 2 small clots, it has died down a lot and went back to very minimal brown discharge stuff. I have had 2 internal scans at epu that still can’t see anything anywhere, and my hcg has gone from 361 > 63% after 48 hours then > 77% another 48 hours later, sitting at 1012 odds. I have had very minimal pain. I am very worried at the thought of an ectopic or it being missed and going bad. Has anyone else been in this position ? I have another app tomorrow for another scan and more bloods. Thanks in advance x

UPDATE **
Just back from the hospital and confirmed ectopic. Even though I am upset I am relieved to have an answer ! I’m being monitored and methotrexate is an option but not decided yet, i am so anxious at the thought of a rupture or surgery
Dear Emma,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
Treatment will depend upon factors including how high your hCG levels are, if there is any fluid in your abdomen and your last medical history. Although methotrexate can seek a long, drawn out option, it is not as invasive as surgery. You will be monitored closely with blood tests and have access to a medical team if needed. It is also reassuring that there is no difference in chances of conceiving again between any of the treatment options.
Have the discussion with your medical team.
We will be here for you for as long as you need,
Sending much love and warm hugs,
Karen x
