Post surgery ovulation pain

Hi. I had surgery to remove a tube a few months ago but still have some healing to do (it’s taking forever to get back to 100%).

Anyway, I’m wondering if anyone else experienced similar and has pain before, during and after ovulation?

I’ve been having it each time since surgery, but this time it’s on the side where my tube is missing - lower abdomen and above my hip. Seems a little odd and curious if it could just be that ovary’s turn, adhesions and/or more healing needed.

Hi

I had very similar pain on the side I had tube removed. I spoke to GP and also had an Ultrasound that couldn’t see anything.

It did eventually just settle down, surgery was early August this year and dec was probably first month I had no pain. Gp felt it was everything settling down/some adhesions.

I kept a pain diary across my cycle which helped and the ultrasound was reassuring so you could reach out to your GP for one if it continues xxx

Thanks so much for sharing your experience - I had surgery in August too.

So glad to hear things are settling down for you. Out of interest did you always just have pain on the side where the tube was removed?

I’ve also kept a diary to keep track of things. It’s definitely calming down from how it was a few months ago but still have twinges here and there.

Thanks

though I wouldn’t wish it on anyone it’s been so helpful on this forum to hear of others going through similar

Yeah the pain was mostly right side where I had tube removed but I did have some more on left around ovulation. I’ve always had ovulation pain but it has felt more intense since the surgery even on the left, not sure why that would be really! I probably do notice it a bit more x
