Polyp or fibroid on uterus

EP on January 3,2024. Tube burst, was bleeding internally and had to have left fallopian tube removed. Have had mostly normal periods up until this. Now painful, bigger clots, and ovulation time is very painful and nauseating. Went for a check up today to see if things were ok. They did a vaginal ultrasound. Found polyp or fibroid on my uterus. Scheduling outpatient surgery for removal and biopsy. Questions I have, are probably never to be answered with facts, I understand that. Anyone else gone through this? Were you able to conceive successfully? I am in limbo mentally on if I even want to continue this journey. I feel extremely defeated and wonder if I’m even meant to have children. I am 38 y/o. Ectopic pregnancy in January 2024 was first ever conception.

Dear sgrigsby,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,

Many people also experience unusual abdominal pain following ectopic pregnancy and we are not sure why this is.

People do go on to conceive following removal of polyps/fibroids but I would discuss this with your medical team who will be able to give you more personalised medical advice.

Sending much love,

Karen x

Thank you kindly for your response! I’m feeling much better this weekly mentally. It is just hard. We’ve come to one obstacle after another obstacle on our years long journey to become pregnant so it is very disheartening.

The pain doesn’t help either. Just kind of try to work through it but sometimes it’s worse than others so :woman_shrugging:t3:
