Has anyone been diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease or Fitsz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome?
I’ve had ongoing issues since my surgery which are symptoms of both these diseases

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss.
Pelvic inflammatory disease is a broad umbrella term for infections of the upper genital tract including womb, ovaries and tubes. They can often be diagnosed through having vaginal swabs taken. A lot are caused by sexually transmitted infections and can cause symptoms of tummy pain, but can be easily treated with antibiotics.
I’m afraid I haven’t heard of Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome, but a little search identifies that it is a rare complication of pelvic inflammatory disease causing tummy pain, chills, fever and tiredness.

Of course surgery can cause is to have tummy pain and tiredness for up to six weeks. This is completely normal. Unfortunately I am not medically trained so would advise speaking to your GP or medical team with any concerns.
