Hi, I had an ectopic pregnancy at the end of last year and had my right fallopian tube removed and I am now 4 weeks pregnant.
I’ve been experiences twinges at my left side groin. They’re not so painful more just uncomfortable. I just don’t know if this is normal or a possibly a sign of an ectopic as I’ve never been pregnant before apart from that one time. Is anyone able to give me some advice as I’m so worried now. Thank you
After an ectopic pregnancy, finding we are pregnant again can be a mix of emotions and I can completely understand your feeling nervous. It is perfectly normal to feel scared after the ordeal you have endured. I also felt twinges and aches after my ectopic pregnancy, particularly when I next felt pregnant. My mind started racing and I was only really able to relax to some degree after my early scan. It is a nerve-wracking time and you have friends here who understand how you are feeling. Having said this, as pain is so subjective, as you are concerned about the discomfort and it appears.to be worsening, I would advise seeking medical advice, just to be on the safe side.
Sending much love and positive thoughts,
Karen x
