Hello Ladies
I am new to this forum. I had an ectopic pregnancy in December, resolved with two methotrexate injections. Now my period started on Sunday (as expected) but I only had very light bleeding And only needed a panty liner. I had period cramps but this light bleeding made me concerned so I did 8 pregnancy test in the last few days and they all came back negative. I still have little brown discharge (only third day into my period) and little pains In my right tube where my pregnancy was before. Now I don’t know if I am just super sensitive to ectopic pregnancy symptoms and making myself paranoid.
Has anybody had this problem before, is it possible to get negative pregnancy test and still have an ectopic pregnancy? I would be 4+2 today and my periods have been regular since February
What are your experiences?

Dear Kamila,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss and the worrying time you are going through.
Although home pregnancy test kits are quite sensitive these days, if you are concerned that your period is not normal for you and there is a chance you could be pregnant, I would always advise speaking to your GP or doctor who maybe able to arrange blood tests for you.
Sadly I do have to remind you to seek urgent medical advice if you experience any worsening bleeding with abdominal pains or experience shoulder tip pain or feel dizzy and unwell.
Sending much love,
Karen x
