Lump behind belly button 2 weeks after surgery

I had surgery 2 week ago this Sunday and iv just noticed a lump right behind where they cut me open. Is it normal ???

Dear Beth,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,

Unfortunately I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your symptoms. It is possible that a lump behind a surgical cut, could be a sign of infection and I would advise speaking to your GP.

Sending much love,

Karen x

I’m 8 weeks on and have a small lump which I reckon is scar tissue x

Because they have punctured the connective tissue due to their entry, a small hernia may have developed. I have that. I’m 9 weeks post.

Best to get it checked out by your doc tho as everyone’s different.

Sending love. It gets easier and tummy looks less weird each week x x x
