I had the methotrexate injection in early September to treat an ectopic. I was told at the time I had to wait 3 months until I could try again - but I think it’s 3 normal periods rather than 3 calendar months. Does anyone know if that’s right?
If it’s 3 calendar months I can start trying now, if it’s 3 normal periods then it’s the end of the month.

I am sorry you have had to go through this. I had the MTX injection too, at the beginning of July. I had 2 normal periods and then started trying again at the 3 months from date of injection (i.e. beginning of October). I was also told to start taking folic acid as soon as my HCG levels hit 0, and take for 12 weeks, however I think this worked out to be about 9 weeks when I started TTC again. We have been lucky in that we fell pregnant that first month and I have my scan next week. Have you got any follow up appointments with the nurses? They could probably give you the best advice.
