Ive just been referres for fertility checks after 6 months of trying after losing my right tube to an ectopic in december after 2 lots of methetrexate first.
I was wonderjng what your experiences are and what the 1st appointment is like
Hello,
I was seen at the fertility clinic in March, there’s usually a 13 week waiting time to be seen here in aberdeen.
The first appointment was just them gathering a history of any previous pregnancies, they also did an internal scan and thought that my ovaries were polysistic.
I then went on to have an ectopic & left tube removal in August this year so I’ve be re-referred to the fertility clinic & im still waiting to be seen, it’s been 8 weeks.

Ive got my appointment in 2 weeks. Its my first one . Do you go back quiet soon after your first appointment? Im so scared and nervous so is my partner as weve been trying for 10 months and its been 11 months since the ectopic.
