I had a right side ectopic pregnancy in August last year I was 7 weeks had the methotrexate injection and ever since been getting bad pain on my back that side worse when ovulate and on period! Any way taken till today to get scan to check if anything left!
But to add to this I have a feeling I could be 2 weeks pregnant! But thought way to early to c anything on scan. Any way at scan she found something on right ovary she said could be left over ectopic or could be early pregnancy or another ectopic you can guess how I’m feeling right now! So not only have I got the worry of pregnancy in right place! Also is there left over bits! Feel so lost and upset I have to wait a week to c doc but it’s all going thought my head and haven’t stopped crying yet!
Thank you for replying as can’t find any help anywhere! I’ve not done pregnancy test yet as was thinking too early but also just read if it’s a cyst it might give false reading so scared to take one now cause won’t know! so confused and scared x
I’ve taken a preg test this morning negative but I would only be 2 weeks! No disnt have any more test which I was surprised at! My doc phoned me today wants to c me tomorrow for preg test! I feel so confused I know somethin is on my ovary it’s just what!
What happened? Did you have to have them removed? Did they cause any pain? Sorry for all the questions! Been in pain since my ectopic just want to forget but hard to when the pain reminds me!
Went to docs this morning for blood test as they want to check if I’m pregnant first!
Really don’t know why they don’t send me to the clinic where they dealt with my ectopic and investigate this! As its driving me insane not knowing anything! X
I don’t know what happened to them, they didn’t tell me they removed them.
When they saw them on the scan they told me it was normal and usually the body absorbs them and they dis-appear. Aparantky what happens is the cysts are formed when an ovary produces an egg.
After surgery all they told me was that everything other than the removal of my left tube, is fine and that I shouldn’t have any issues conceiving again.
I hope this helps, it’s crap when you get all kinds of strange feelings and twinges after the surgery, even three months on in still have twinges, I never know if they’re normal or just my body healing. Unless they cause me real pain I just try to get on with it.
