hCG levels reducing - can I fly?

I was told I have an ectopic pregnancy 8 days ago. My hormone levels dropped from 400hCG to 150hCG within 48hrs after being diagnosed. So I’m under the expectant management. My pain has settled but I get the occasional mild shooting twinge in my left abdominal and back. I’ve had no bleeding, only spotting from the first time I was told. Now I am meant to be flying to Ireland (1.15hr flight) in a couple of days. I feel ok in myself to go but i was wondering is anyone else has flown during with a ectopic. I’ve had a blood test today and I’m waiting on the results but hoping the levels have dropped further.

Dear Cre86,

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,

Sadly there remains a risk of rupture with low and declining levels, so we would advise that you don’t travel too far away from your EPU or fly until your levels have dropped to non pregnant levels ie below 5mIU/mL or you have been discharged from your EPU.

Sending much love,

Karen x
