Hi Lorna

I’m sorry your having to go through this.

Yes I had ectopic last year and was away when I found out, so had my first shots there and it didn’t work. The doc said I need surgery but we came back and I had scan and bloods done again here and doc gave me a choice of medical management or surgery. So I decided to go for medical and had 2nd shots and my hcg levels did come down. So think positive and positive will happen. Keep me posted I will be thinking about you. Good luck

Thank you ill know by saturday. Sorry to hear about your loss x

Going through a miscarriage at the moment.

I find the waiting very difficult, you have to be very patient!

All the best xx

I ended up with both jags not working so i had an operation to remove my tube on sunday im home now but very very sore xxx

Sorry to hear that Lorna.

Just take it easy and rest.

I’ve not been lucky myself this time, I started bleeding on the 11th October thinking it was my period and it went on, only to find out I was pregnant and it was a miscarriage.

9 weeks onwards I’m still having spotting, clots or discharge and it hasn’t stopped.

I’m wondering anyone else experienced this?

My sister inlaw has had a few miscarriages and she has a bleed for 2/3 weeks and it’s all over.

I was experiencing that too do you have pain and tired easily? Are they monitoring your blood levels? Ask for a scan to check. I ended up having methextraxate twice and it didnt work so i had surgery on sunday to remove my tube even though they couldnt find anything in my scan at tge hospital, they put a camera through my belly button and saw it and removed the etopic and my tube. Im in alot of pain now mentally and physically. This had been going on for 5 weeks before they done surgery. Im glad they found it and removed it but im very upset about loosing the baby. They are doing tests now to find out if there was a reason why this happened. Myself and my partner are heart broken. I hope your ok

It’s very difficult to deal with the loss and I really feel your pain Lorna. I have a cry now and then when I’m on my own.

I get pain sometimes, especially back ache and sometimes period like cramps.

No they are not monitoring me any more, they have said if my pregnancy test is negative in few weeks it’s all good but if it’s positive then I need to contact them as I’m going through a miscarriage this time and not ectopic so they don’t seem to be too worried and fussed.

I do get very tired easily especially if I’m standing for too long, I’m not sleeping too well I happen to be awake for hours.

I hope you have a full recovery very soon and things get better for you, it’s very traumatising and draining.

I hopw your feeling much better now? Im still recivering walking about or doing hoisework or even sitting up straught is tiring and still sore. Trying to get app with doctor to see what he says. Recovery physically is easier than the mental recovery we have to go through.

I hope your ok x

Hi Lorna

Thank you for replying.

I’m good, I hadn’t fully miscarried, my scans showed tissues/clots so I decided to take miso tablets but still no luck it’s been 3 months now and my scan on Tuesday showed a small tissue only the size of a pea and I’m still getting a positive pregnancy test. I have another scan on Tuesday and if tissue is still there they will book me in for the (MVA) manual vacuum aspiration

Yes your absolutely right, it’s not easy as we have to deal with the physical side of feeling unwell and then deal with it all mentally and emotionally. My advice is take every day as it comes. I went back to work yesterday and I must say it did me good.

I hope your recovery gets easier for you xx

Why have they waited so long to do the vac? 3 months is a long time to go through all of that.

I hope you get it and can start healing and recover from it.

Thank you im 3 almost 4 weeks post op. Just trying to recover from the operation now.
