Hi, before my operation (i had left fallopian tube & pregnancy removed) in the hospital they discussed funeral arrangements with me to which i said i wanted a home burial. How long does this normally take to collect and bring my little seed home? Also what type of tests do they do? What are they testing for? Any type of advice on this would greatly help and ease my overthinking brain right.
Thanks in advance
Steph
Dear Steph,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss.
I would presume the testing is a form of genetic testing, however these aren’t always completed with ectopic pregnancy as the losses are usually quite early.
I would advise speaking to the secretary of the medical team who treated you in hospital for further clarification on specific testing they complete and how long this may take. The hospital chaplin may also have guidance on how long it usually takes.
I am sorry i can not provide any further detailed information, but I would check with your medical team.
Sending much love,
Karen x
