I’m 3 weeks post surgery and know it can take 3-6 weeks for your first period. Feeling quite uncomfortable and thinking it could be period pains. When did you get your first period after surgery and how painful was it?

Hello, I got my period 10 days After surgery. I wanted to tell you, there is actually another pollo asking the same question with much more answers (It says something like "Time AF After surgery)

How are u feeling? I had my surgery 2 months ago and I struggle with my mental health.

Thank you for your reply. I did look at the polls but must have missed that one, I’ll look again.

I had ovulation symptoms last week so guessing my period is probably due next week. I had a lot of pain which the doctor thought could be a UTI (although I tested negative for it) but I’m wondering if it could have been because of ovulation. Who knows!

I’m now almost 4 weeks post surgery and although I’m slowly getting stronger physically, I am finding the emotional recovery a lot harder. It’s so hard, isn’t it?
