Hi. I just found out I’m pregnant again. Luckily it was our first month of trying after methotrexate. BUT I’m so nervous and feeling scared and negative. I’m adamant it’s another ectopic. I’ve had 3 ectopics already and have just my left tube - where I’ve had 1 of the ectopics before. I can’t help how I’m feeling as my test lines are so faint and not getting any darker. I’m only 4 w +3. I’ve got a scan booked for the 13th. I’ve asked to have bloods but they said to have the scan. I just want to know if I’m doubling or not to put my mind at rest or prepare me for the worse. I hate that I can’t be excited. I hate this stage.
Best of luck to you hunni!!
Try your best not to panic (easier said than done). If you feel anything is wrong ensure you get to your Dr and request your bloods are done quicker. Only you know your body, trust your gut instinct!
Fingers crossed this is the one for you!! Xxx
Thank you Lorna. I’ve got everything crossed…im not panicking as such I just can’t help but feel this isn’t going to happen. I felt really positive last time and look what happened. I am trying to be positive or not think about it but after everything I’ve been through me and my husband just feel we’re riding it out waiting for the inevitable to happen. I am still holding my belly saying positive things and begging for it to be in the right place and sticky. Next Thursday feels like a lifetime away. Hoping I don’t go crazy in the meantime. Thanks again. It’s nice just getting these thoughts out of my head and sharing with people who understand xxx
So I’ve started bleeding but no pain. So waiting to hear from my consultant. I didn’t bleed with 1st or 3rd but did my 2nd ectopic. So they’ll probably want me in to check what it is hoping it’s not ectopic and I’m just dealing with miscarriage. I Don’t want methotrexate again as have to wait 3 months! Getting bored of this now
Dear clare11203,
I’m sorry to hear you are going through this worrying time.
I hope your consultant has got back to you by now as given your history, they should be monitoring you closely, if this is not the case, do not hesitate to badger them until they see you.
Sadly, I do have to advise that if you experience worsening bleeding, abdominal pain, shoulder tip pain or start to feel dizzy and unwell, please seek urgent medical advice.
I’m going to send positive thoughts as we have heard of women who have bled in early pregnancy and gone on to have a successful pregnancy.
Sending much love and warm hugs,
Karen x

Thank you. No not heard yet. Bleeding is just like normal period at the moment and no pain. I’ve never suffered the fingertip pain with any of ectopics. Consultants secretary is trying to get hold of her now x
Well I had an appt this morning but already knew it was miscarriage. I’d bled alot and symptoms dropped this morning. Confirmed miscarriage as test came up negative. It was almost like they didn’t believe me. I had a big 'Pregnant on my clearblue advanced fertility monitor which is 50mlU and many lines on EPT’S though all were extremely faint. I’m just glad it’s not ectopic. Shows everything is working…i don’t need anything invasive and don’t need any methotrexate so can try straight away. So I’m actually relieved x
Dear clare11203,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss but completely understand you feeling relieved that it is not an ectopic pregnancy.
Be kind to yourself and allow time to grieve and recover.
We are here for you for as long as you need,
