I had an ectopic in feb and was treated with the drug … Have now found am pregnant again. Im not bleeding or cramping just feel tender and have had back pain (on side ectopic was) and some symptoms i had when i was pregnant with my son 2 years ago… Am nearly 5 weeks and got scan in 10 days to see if ok. Has anyone experienced this? Im worrying so much it will happen again… Trying to stay positive but so hard x

When I fell pregnant after my ectopic pregnancy, I felt all sorts of twinges and worries. After everything we have been through, this is a very normal response and I very much understand the mix of emotions of excitement and concern in the back of the mind.
Most importantly, you have your early scan booked where the doctors can check that the embryo is in the uterus and give you peace of mind. Having the scan at about six weeks is usual as there is a reasonable chance of seeing an embryo around that time. I know it is so much easier said than done but please do try to take it easy and not to worry.
While I do not want to alarm you, please also keep a close eye on how you are feeling. If you find that you start bleeding or have increased pain levels, do get yourself checked out to be on the safe side.
