Earliest ectopic symptoms pls help

Hello, I’m new on here as of today.
I had a an ectopic in 2010 and tube removed and then I lost my first daughter at 41 weeks in 2011. It was hell beyond imagination. In 2022 I finally had my beautiful daughter from a natural cycle ivf fet that worked first time. I finally plucked up the courage to do another natural cycle fet 9 days ago and I have a feeling it’s another ectopic as I have pain down left side that comes and goes and occasional rectal pressure. But my question is I’m still 2 days away from my period even being due so is it even possible to have ectopic symptoms this early??? The answer to this question would give me such relief I can’t tell you. I’ve had 3 early detection positives… I have all other pregnancy symptoms too although my boobs aren’t quite as sore as they normally are when I’m pregnant. The ivf cycle I did was completely natural, not a single drug passed my lips or veins and so all they symptoms I’m getting are real,
Did anyone else get ectopic symptoms (especially abdomen pain) before their period was even due having had an early positive pregnancy test? Thanks so much for reading :pray:t3:

Natalyla,

I am so sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through. Suffering an ectopic pregnancy can create a heightened awareness of what is happening with our bodies. It’s important to communicate what you are experiencing with your doctors and to know that you can continue to advocate for yourself.

If you are concerned about your symptoms worsening, I would always advise to seek urgent medical advice, at the very least to put your mind at rest. You can also self-refer to the EPU for an early scan (approx. six weeks). I’m not medically qualified to comment on your situation, but I always encourage women to continue to ask the questions they have, even writing them down before the visit to ensure you can ask all of them.

It can be very worrying when we do not know what is going on with our bodies, and you know your body best, so if you have any concerns, I would advise seeking medical advice.

With many good wishes,

Michele
