Did anyone not have clexane injections after surgery I didn’t worrying now that they should have give it ?
I never had surgery I had methotrexate, I was thinking if you had keyhole surgery the healing is so much quicker and maybe didn’t require clexane. I had clexane a few months ago to aid trying to get pregnant and I had an unpleasant experience of it. Huge purple and red bruises from each injection that took months to go away.
Dear Lau,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
I think this would depend upon individual hospital policies, however as most people who experience ectopic pregnancy are generally young and fit, I do not think.it’s common place to have clexane after surgery.
If you want to be sure, I would suggest calling the ward who discharged you and checking what their normal procedure is.
Sending much love,
Karen x
