Cesarean Scar Pregnancy

I had a cesarean scar pregnancy 2 years ago which resulted in termination and a surgery to repair the scar. We are now TTC, I’m nervous about it. Has anyone else out there experienced a pregnancy that attached to your previous cesarean scar, had to terminate, and go on to have another child?

I also had a CS ectopic on 27th July MC at 12 weeks. We are going to start trying again as soon as possible. I am still bleeding 5 weeks after MC. How long did you bleed for after MC?

I bled for several months and my hcg level didn’t return to normal for 8 months. I’ve since had surgery to repair the area of the scar that the pregnancy attached to. We’re due to try again.

Hi,

I started bleeding a week ago today (Monday 19th December) and went to hospital and all they did was take my bloods. I was booked in for a scan on Wednesday 21st, I’d be 9w 6d pregnant.

We didn’t know what to expect and was still hoping our baby was alive. I had an internal scan and the doctors were talking between themselves. All of a sudden we heard ‘twin sacks’! I was so excited, I’ve always wanted twins but there are to twins in my family so assumed it was impossible. Hope filled us, maybe twins was causing the bleeding, or at worst, maybe at least one of them was ok.

Then finally after about 5 minutes of clicking and measuring, we were told yes there are two sacks but unfortunately they were the size of what you would expect at 6 weeks, not almost 10. Implantation had taken place on my second daughters csection scar so it was classed as a cesarean eptopic with twins.

Absolutely heartbroken, I was kept in hospital until Friday 23rd December and luckily let out so I could be home for Christmas with my family. It’s been a difficult few days, especially over christmas, but we’ve managed to keep out spirits up for the sake of our daughters.

I’ve got through it naturally as my body had already started to do what it needed to. I think one, or both came out today as it looked like what the doctor described it might.

Is there a set time of how long to wait until we try again, or is it different for everyone? Also, what are the chances of us getting twins again? I feel this was a once in a lifetime thing.

Thanks for reading x
