Am I having a second ectopic pregnancy?

I am currently 12DPO and got my BFP on 9DPO. My line progression hasn’t been great and I’ve taken two digital weeks indicator and both have said 1-2 weeks which is scaring me that the HCG isn’t rising.
I had an ectopic last year with little symptoms.
This time round I have no bleeding, and some stronger pregnancy symptoms.
In a waiting game to get my blood test results.
Appreciate the help

Hey Lucie,

I just wanted to reach out to send some good thoughts your way. Im not sure how accurate those tests are, so probably no choice but wait for the blood draw results and eventually your early US (where I am I get it at 5.5 weeks) to really know what’s going on… I know from experience that the wait can be excutiating. I know that’s not the most helpful, but for me the o ly thing that’s been really helpful in those moments is distractions. Anything you can do that requires 100% of your attention, whether a safe physical activity, social or creative.

It’s hard to inagine when you’re waiting for results, but this time will pass. I really hope things will work out for you! Im here if you need to talk.

Take care,
Cam

Dear Lucielu,
Whispered congratulations on your pregnancy.
From my own experience, I tend not to pay too much attention to the darkness on lines on pregnancy tests.
My first pregnancy had dark lines and was ectopic. My second pregnancy was really light and was successful.
You mention you have an appointment for blood tests, please ensure they complete tests over a few days and do not rely on just one reading. It is also important to boom in for an early pregnancy scan at around 6 weeks as this is the method used for diagnosing ectopic pregnancy, above blood tests.
I do have to remind you to seek urgent medical advice with any bleeding, pain or you feel dizzy and unwell, but for now i am sending lots of positive thoughts.
Best wishes,
Karen x
