Hi, I had an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year (first pregnancy) treated with surgery, removing my left fallopian tube at the beginning of September. It took over 15 weeks for my period to arrive and my GP couldn’t have cared less when I rang worried about not having my period. After this I got the go ahead to try again. I haven’t had a positive test yet as it’s only been a week after possible ovulation/ TTC. But I feel similar to how I did the last time - cramps and sharp pains on either side and in the lower abdomen, shooting pains down my legs, headache, fatigue and nausea. I’m not having any bleeding though. I’m frantically taking tests every day because I’m terrified.
Could this be happening again? I’m so scared and I don’t want to lose my other tube. Could this just be really bad PMS, has anyone else experienced this? My period is technically due next week.
Thankyou in advance, you’re all amazing.
My only pregnancy has been my ectopic so I have no idea how it should feel
Hi Daisy,
Sending you my love! I can’t help because I’m still currently going through my ectopic, but I am hoping some of these symptoms are driven by the trauma of your previous pregnancy. I don’t know what more you’ll be able to do than ride it out but I am hoping for the best and manifesting a baby inside the womb for you! Sending love and baby dust!
YOU GOT THIS!!!

Dear Daisy,
It is common to experience pain following ectopic pregnancy, I also experienced ovulation pain which I never had before my treatment.
It can take some months to settle, I was still experiencing it up to a year later right up until I conceived again.
As you have mentioned, it would be very early to pick up a pregnancy just yet, I would advise testing weekly with an early morning urine as daily won’t tell you much at this stage and will most likely are to any anxieties. If your pain worsens however or you feel dizzy and unwell, you experience shoulder tip pain or you are concerned, please seek medical advice.
Sending much love,
Karen x

Hello,
I don’t know whether you’ll see this as you posted it in January, however, I have experienced the exact same things 10 days post ovulation.
If you don’t mind me asking, what was the end result? Did you ever find out what the pain was?
I’m praying it’s early pregnancy.
Hi - thanks both of you for sharing your experiences. I am also experiencing the exact same thing and finding it very hard to wait to test. Did you ever find out whether you were pregnant? Have everything crossed for you both
