I recently found out i am pregnant im about 4 weeks 6 days , a year ago i had an ectopic pregnancy that was resolved with methotrexate. So this time my hcg went from 21.2 to 36 to 40.1 so they sent me for an ultrasound they didnt see anything they did see a small fluid filled area in the endometrial but couldn’t say what it is , but then they tested my hcg again it went up to 62.2 in 2 days, anyone experience anything like this did anyone end up having a viable healthy pregnancy?

Of course we still have a hope, but I am afraid that HCG rise is not enough good. It is hard, but you need to wait when it will be possible to understand what type of pregnancy you have.

I go for another hcg tomorrow morning and if that doesnt rise appropriately then i will be sent for a methotrexate injection if it does then me and my doctor have to discuss further steps

I am sorry to hear of the worrying time you are going through.
Blood tests alone do not diagnose an ectopic pregnancy, it also depends upon scan results. Bloods generally need to double every 48hours for a viable pregnancy, but if they aren’t it doesn’t automatically mean you are experiencing another ectopic pregnancy.
