Positive news

This forum helped me get through a difficult time at the end of Feb 2018. When I was rushed into hospital with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy at 8 weeks pregnant. This was 3 days before me and my husband were moving into our new family home. We had been trying to conceive for 9 months.

So after the ectopic and having a fallopian tube removed I really thought it would be difficult to conceive again. However after 2 months of trying we found out I was pregnant on my birthday. Making this an amazing present but very scary.

We never believed anything was real and even after a scan at 6 weeks 5 days which confirmed the baby was in my womb I was still convinced it was too good to be true.

However I have just had my 12 week scan today. And baby is growing well and all is good. Only now is it sinking in!

Just wanted to share a positive outcome to keep everyone’s hope as that helped me at the time.

Hi Donnie-Marie,
