Anyone else getting or had terrible night sweats after ectopic pregnancy. I had surgery no infection or anything abnormal but I am literally drenched at night, I’m talking pool’s of water on my chest and neck
And anyone any remedies?!

Dear Alanad,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss,
Unfortunately we are unable to give specific medical advice. I am not aware of night sweats as you describe being a side effect of ectopic pregnancy. I would therefore discuss your symptoms with you GO or doctor, just to be on the safe side.
Sending much love,
Karen x

Thanks Karen I’m assuming it’s hormonal as I otherwise feel well. Just wondered if anyone has had similar experience. I’ll see how they go the hot weather isn’t helping!
I had surgery a week ago and also having bad night sweats. I assumed it’s normal due to hormones ( progesterone decreasing as I have them before my period. I also had them really bad for months after giving birth for the same reason.
This is my thought process too but I’m 5 weeks post surgery now and still horrendous
Hi Alanad875,
I also have night sweats. Sometimes it happens during daytime too. I am 6 months after surgery and MTX.
As I understand it is because if low levels of estradiol which is low because I don’t have follicles and ovulation after EP.
I hope it will be over but they seem to be symptoms of premenopause. I also have high FSH and almost zero AMH
