Hi,
I’m new here, apologies if this is the wrong board.
I am 1.5 week post ectopic pregnancy where I had to have emergency surgery and my right tube removed.
I was wondering if anyone has suffered with body acne and face acne after? Left side my of my face is hot and I noticed tones of little spots all over my body. I’m wondering if it’s a shift in hormones and post op. As if I didn’t need any more suffering, along comes this issue.
Any advice/or confirmation is welcomed.
Hope you are all doing ok.
Thanks x
Hi ,
I hope you are recovering as well as you can at the moment sending lots of love as it’s a really hard time. I am two weeks post surgery and well and I am experiencing exactly the same. My skin was very clear previously and a week after surgery I have broken out all over my face , chin, chest , back and even shoulders etc. I was wondering exactly the same , if it has anything to do with hormones? Any recommendations to help clear this up would be amazing.
X
Hi Jen,
So sorry to hear. Hope you are doing well as well, sending thoughts and love.
I have purchased some bits off Amazon, not sure if they will work but I haven’t seen my skin this bad. I suffer with endo and pcos and still haven’t experienced a break out like this. It looks like thousands of spots all over my shoulders, chest, back and face!! I purchased “Chemist at Play body wash- prevents body and bacne” and also “ Elaimei- back acne treatment spray”. Like I said I’ve just purchased it so no idea if it works but I spent most my afternoon yesterday sobbing and googling products. Will let you know how I get on.

Hi MadsHop,
I’m so sorry to hear you’ve suffered an ectopic pregnancy and loss. I’m not medically qualified, so cannot comment on your specific situation. However, with the decrease in hormones following an ectopic pregnancy, our bodies may react in different ways. As well, ectopic pregnancy and surgery is a traumatic and stressful situation for our bodies and emotions, and your body may be reacting to stress from the events. I always recommend following up with your GP if the condition causes you on-going concern and for peace of mind.
With good wishes,
Michele
