Just wondering how long it took to get pregnant if you had a tube removed?
Not much hell but mine was removed in October and in still trying
Mine was removed in jan this year an im now 7weeks preg x
Mine was removed last aug 28 I got preg oct 22 but the pain iv had and still have at 24 weeks is horrendous sometimes because of the op being so fresh still plus the mental side of it is hard to deal with so please take care of yourself Hun and good luck xx
I was treated with methotrexate so didnt lose a tube and it took 5 months. The month we concieved i had given up, stopped taking my prenatal vitamins & didnt pay attention to fertile days. Good luck to you, ttc after an ectopic is scary and being pregnant after an ectopic is even scarier but it will be worth it in the end!! Xx
Thanks ladies and congrats to you. I know it’s only been 3 months since my operation but I’m feeling ok. I’m not in any pain and though Im scared of it happening again I feel hopeful and excited about the possibility of a baby.
I had my ectopic surgery on Nov 25, 2014. Right tube removed. Age 36.
Since i was given methotrexate prior to rupturing, I waited for 3 menstural before ttc. During that time I took a NFP course and a creighton method course to learn to chart my cycle and help identify any hormone imbalances. I also performed a self fertility massage in Feb and March. And most of all…i said a multiple novenas and prayers to St Gerard, St Anthony, St Joseph, Our Lady of Sorrows, and Jesus. Admittedly I also cried daily over the ectopic.
We ttc in March and got pregnant first try! I wasnt too stressed when we tried because i was convinced i was ovulating on the opposite side of my tube and that month was probably a waste. Turns out i did ovulate on my right and it went down my only left tube. The scan showed last week that its in my uterus! I feel like this pregnancy is a miracle!
I hope this is encouraging to others.
I had ectopic surgery and lost a tube last March. We were careful for the recommended time then didn’t use contraception and didn’t actively TTC as such. I am now 25 weeks pg- BFP at the end of January
Hi
I had my right tube removed in August last year, we found out I was pregnant again earlier this month; only to find out it’s another ectopic in my left tube. I’m being treated with methrexate, the doctor will let us try again naturally for 6 months. If i I don’t fall pregnant after six months we will have to have IVF. Fingers crossed for 3rd time lucky …
