4 weeks since an ectopic Hun? How was it treated? Xxx
Right tube removed. Last night I see bright red blood, it’s light. Not a flow flow yet.
Can I consider this my first period?
So sorry to hear about your tube. I’m sorry I can’t really help you much, i was treated with mex and I bled continually afterwards for 3 weeks before having my 1st period.
Is there anyone else who can help?
Xxx
Hi Jess
I bled from before surgery for more than a week after (left tube removed) I then didn’t bleed again for about 6 weeks (my first period)
Your first period can be longer or shorter heavier or lighter than you are use to.
I guess the question is did you stop bleeding since your surgery?
I do not have any medical training this is just based on my own experience and from what I have read.
Thanks I figured it’s my cycle babe. It’s been three days and has got heavier. Hey do you mind if I ask you a question.
Jess sorry for the late response
ask away
Did you conceive Again yet??
Jess
Yes and I am now holding my precious 2 week old baby girl in my arms! I actually had my daughter the day you posted (19 August) which is why there was a bit of a delay with my response!
I was lucky to conceive after my first menstrural cycle following surgery. I also already had a son when I had the ectopic. I did not expect it to happen so quick as we had been ttc for 12 months before the ectopic so was quite the surprise!
I hope this gives you some hope as it is possible to conceive just as quick with only one tube
Wow this really made my day! Thank you so much for responding . Means a lot too me
Of course anytime. Glad I could help
Hope you have some success ttc in the near future.
Take care xoxo
