Hi everybody, I thought I’d better say hello as some people might wonder why a man is reading and posting in the forums. You can read our story in the “Man section” if you wish.
We went through a heterotopic pregnancy in NZ, ( about 1-2 cases per year in NZ, or 1:30,000), my darling had severe HG, and had several complications at the end including a period where they couldn’t pick up the baby’s heartbeat, resulting in emergency caesarean section.
There is some limited support for women, but nothing for men. The second anniversary of the operation is coming up and only now am I able to write/ talk about it. I hope by sharing feelings/ experiences I can offer some support/ help for others.
Share the love.
Neil
