First signs of an ectopic ?

I had a ectopic 24th December 2017

My story was

I had an incline I was pregnant tests were coming back negative Evan when u was due on my period , I was 2 days late for my period then had a 3-4 light period so I guessed I wasn’t pregnant , 4-5 days after my period I had severe pain etc 12 hours later I fount out I was pregnant so rushed to surgery due to internally bleeding due to a ruptured ectopic on my ovary …

Anyway , I was 100% sure I wasn’t pregnant this month but tests saying NO , then I was 2 days late on my period ( like with the ectopic ) had a 3 day light period … so I guessed I’m not pregnant it’s 3 days after my period today and I still don’t feel right , no pregnancy tests would show if I was as they didn’t last time until it ruptured ,

I was going to call the doctor and ask for a possible HCG test just incase I am pregnant , worrying incase it happens in a few days like last time then it rupturing

I don’t know if I’m over thinking it all but everything is the same like my ectopic was x

So sorry to hear you’re going through this. I saw your facebook post too - I had a similar concern when I thought I was pregnant after ectopic. Your GP should give you a beta HCG blood test 48 hours apart, since it is more accurate than urine tests, and I’m surprised they are not giving you one. I went to A&E but the waiting was horrible (4+ hours), so we actually went to arrange a private blood test. I recommend it if finances allow it, just for the peace of mind.

Please remember that even if you have the same symptoms it doesn’t mean you have another ectopic. Many women experience different symptoms when pregnant, even those with multiple ectopics have different symptoms each time. That said, it’s very very important you get checked out now.
