Help me please!!
I have just been discharged from the hospital after having keyhole surgery on my ovary to remove the pregnancy. Firstly this has been missed for weeks and I actually thought I had miscarried over 4 weeks ago. The doctors were shocked my HCG levels were so high (4117) on Wednesday, Thursday morning before surgery (4203) when the pregnancy had technically ended around March 11th
Had the surgery and managed to keep my ovary! Discharged yesterday after waiting for blood results all day - they had lost them, so had another load of blood taken.
This morning the hospital have called me and my levels haven’t even gone down by 1000, they expected my levels to have dropped by half at least. I am back in for another blood test Monday and results Tuesday. I am scared that I am going to have to go for another surgery & they will remove my ovary. I am more scared about going to surgery again as my anxiety was through the roof. I have a 2 year old and I am so scared about everything.
Has anyone ever experienced this? Are my levels likely to go down? Is the injection an option or am I likely to have another surgery.
The pain is scaring me and to think they will open up my fresh wounds is just making me feel all sorts of worry.
Laying in bed trying to go to sleep but my mind is in overdrive
Thank you in advance
Xx
