Clinic add-ons

Hi all

We’ve finally got around to arranging treatment for #2. We’ve moved house and are at a different clinic.

New clinic seem a bit more keen for us to go for added extras than the old one. They’ve recommended we do Eeva (they seem to recommend this for everyone), an endometrial scratch and possibly clexane (we had clexane the last time).

I’m a bit scepital about Eeva - does anyone know if there are any independent figures out there on it? It costs the best part of £900 and just seems like an awful lot of money for a few percentage points on success rates, particularly when the sample sizes the clinics give are small.

And has anyone else had an endo scratch?

Hi

It’s been a while since you posted, so I’m not sure if you found an answer elsewhere or not, but I thought this might help re the endo scratch http://www.nurture.ac.uk/news/endometri … birth-rate

I can’t really help you from personal experience as we’ve not got that far yet - we’re trying clomid for a few months before going down the IVF route.

Hope this helps and good luck x
