Birthmark

My daughter was born with a huge [birthmark on her face. I will love her always anyway, but I think how hard it will be, especially for a girl, to live with that thing and just want to cry! Maybe anyone has similar experience? Is it safe to remove the mark at early age?](http://motherhow.com/birthmarks/)

Dear LilyWells,

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

I understand how upsetting this is for you thinking about her future but unfortunately I am not medically trained so cannot comment on if and when her birthmark would be safe to remove.

I would suggest speaking to your health visitor or GP.

Sending much love,

Karen x

Hey congratulations. I am sure we have solution to all problems these days. You could see what the doctor has to say. Some marks might disappear while she grows.

Hi!

Our daughter has a birthmark on her leg, and like you we as loving parents were concerned about how the wider society would treat her. But in the end, we have come to the conclusion ( hope?) that as long as we show her love, and don’t make a fuss about it, she will be confident and love herself as she is, and that her friends/ partner will love her for who she is, birthmark and all.

All the best for you and your family,

Neil

same.

My baby boy also has a green birthmark on his chest.

But thats fine for me

Thanks for the information.
