Am i having a second Ectopic

Hi I’m new here. I had an ectopic in April 17 which resulted in rupture and removal of my right tube.

My period lasted for 2 weeks and then i took a test randomly purely because I’d been feeling sick each morning when I woke.

The test was positive but I’d been having left side pain so now I am waiting for my hospital appointment on Monday to have an internal scan. I don’t know how to get through the next few days. I feel awful and the pain is different this time. It is deep in my left bum cheek mostly. I don’t know where to turn.

I am new here as well. My first ectopic pregnancy was March 2016 and my second ectopic pregnancy was this past July. I knew I was having an ectopic pregnancy the second time around because my pain was the same thing. I had a lot of rectal pain caused by the internal bleeding.

I hope that your pain is not what you think it is and that you have a successful and healthy pregnancy. Is your pain enough to go to the Emergency room?

Dear Cline

I know it’s an anxious time for you…

please try to stay positive … I know it’s easy said than done … but try…

Really hope you hear it’s all fine on Monday. Xxx

Hi Cline2000,

I’m so sorry to hear about this worrying time you are going through. I know well how hard it is waiting for the EPU early scan. I hope that your pain has settled since you wrote. But also encourage you to keep an eye out for any increasing pains or symptoms of ectopic pregnancy (https://www.ectopic.org.uk/patients/sym … diagnosis/). It is important to be looking after yourself, and if you are feeling worse or concerned, to see your GP, EPU, or medical advice.

With good wishes,

Michele
