2nd ectopic symptoms

Hi all

So I’m currently going through my 2nd ectopic and 3rd pregnancy loss. My first ep was last July and ruptured resulting in my right tube being removed and 1pint blood loss. This one is in my left tube and I’m going through ‘expectant mgmt’.

My numbers keep rising however scans show it reducing in size. There is no longer a circle on the scans from the sack - which is positive.

However I’ve had a few scans because I’ve been feeling tenderness/pain in my lower left back

I’ve now got bad cramping at the very bottom of my abdomen (think period pain but shallower) and pain in my back passage. It increases when I stand up and I get a direct pain hit when I sit down. Plus makes me feel like I need the toilet more. I’m nervous that something isn’t right but equally I could just have bad digestion / wind!! It’s hard to tell what it could be but it’s lasted over a day now…

I’m nervous to rush to the EPC again because at the last scan there was an element of ‘you are being too anxious’ from the consultant. I have my next blood test tomorrow anyway.

I guess I’m wondering if anyone has has this central low pain before with an ectopic. I didn’t with my first (that I can remember).

Hi

Sorry about your previous losses xx

I had my first eptopic on 24th December

My Symtoms started the 23rd having sharpe pain in my bum and my front area , then had pains Inmy right stomatch , it got to the point if I sneezed or coughed it would send a shooting pain into my bottom , as the day went on I was in tears just having a wee with these pains then the shoulder tip pain started I got rushed for emergency surgery , lost over 1 pint of blood from the ovary rupturing ( rare type ) internally bleeding

Xx

Hope yours doesn’t end bad xxx

Mini update

I had another scan today and there is 20ml of internal bleeding which they say is nothing to be concerned about right now. I just had the bloods back and they have almost halved which is very positive.

So… I continue to wait! :?

It’s really unnerving not knowing what all these different pains are and if they are life threatening. Long term I guess expectant mgmt is the best option for the health of the tube, but in the short term it is very scary!
