Dear Sah511,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancies and losses. To experience one loss is difficult to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
As you have experienced three ectopic pregnancies, I would advise speaking to your GP who may refer you to a fertility specialist. Although there are sadly no tests that can help prevent ectopic pregnancy, there are tests which can assess if there are any blockages in your fallopian tubes. We have more information here
https://www.ectopic.org.uk/patients/trying-to-conceive/
If you feel this is an avenue you would like to explore, do speak to your GP.
We do hear from women who have successfully conceived after multiple ectopic pregnancies and as I’m sure you have been informed previously, early scans avail. As soon as you know you are pregnant, contact your local EPU to inform them and book in for an early scan at around six weeks. Remind them of your previous ectopic pregnancy. This self refer route is the best route in our view. Hopefully you will have some comfort to know you are under the radar of medical professionals right away.
Sending much love and warm hugs,
Karen x
