I am 5 days post surgery after my second ruptured ectopic in the right tube.
I had the tube removed in February and haven’t heard of anyone else having a second rupture in the previously removed tube side?
(Basically the stump that was left of the tube) from the previous salpingectomy.
I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about this or has been through it? I just don’t get it and so confused right now. Xx

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancies and losses. To experience one loss is difficult to deal with multiple losses is heartbreaking and my heart truly goes out to you.
Sadly there have been women on these forums who have also experienced an ectopic pregnancy in the stump of the previous surgery, although this is very uncommon.
I am not sure what specific questions you have, we have more information on what is an ectopic pregnancy that may answer some questions for you. The same action happens in an ectopic pregnancy in the stump as in an ectopic pregnancy in the fallopian tube.

So sorry for your losses, I had an ectopic in 2014 where they chose not to remove my tube but rather clear it of the pregnancy which failed and resulted in methotrexate, then in 2018 a week before Christmas I had my second ectopic in the same tube which they then removed, it is a horrible thing to go through I feel for you xx
