Hi everyone.
I’m currently having treatment at Care Fertility Leeds. I got pregnant after my 4th IUI treatment which sadly resulted in an ectopic pregnancy at 7 weeks, where my baby was sadly growing in my left Fallopian tube. I had to have emergency surgery and have my left tube removed.
I wanted to know if anyone had been through a similar situation and was still able to continue with IUI treatment?
Thanks in advance.
Luci
Dear Luci,
I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy loss, especially after everything you have been through. My heart truly goes out to you. I’m afraid I cannot give you specific advice and would advise speaking to you fertility team. There may however be women in here who have experienced similar and can advise upon their personal experiences.
Above all be kind to yourself and allow time to grieve, to heal both physically and emotionally. We will be here for you for as long as you need,
Sending much love,
Karen x
