Hi all,
Last Saturday I had to have surgery to remove my ectopic pregnancy and lost my left tube.
2 days ago I had some brown discharge almost like jelly and tonight I have had some more but clear. Did anybody else have this at all? When I was discharged the Dr didn’t say on what to expect apart from some light bleeding.

I had some very light brown bleeding for around 2-3 days. It came as a shock as no one told me I might bleed as I had been bleeding for over two weeks beforehand. I guess it’s the drop in hormones and our bodies getting back into the swing of things xx

I am so sorry to hear of your ectopic pregnancy and loss,
Sadly I am not medically trained so cannot give you specific advice on your symptoms but will do my best to help.
Whilst bleeding is normal, it is difficult to comment on discharge, however if it is not normal for you, I would seek medical advice. If you find that you have an increased body temperature of more than 37°C or offensive smelling discharge or the wound site starts oozing or feels hot to touch, please do get medical attention as soon as possible as these can be signs of infection.
