I hAd to have emergency surgery on February 17th for an ectopic pregnancy. After the surgery I got a bleed 10 days later, then 33 days I got my a period and then again 28 days later . Both periods were normal periods but it’s now day 18 and I am starting my next period. Is this a common after an ectopic?
I am hoping to start ivf again soon is this going to be problem?

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve suffered and ectopic pregnancy and loss. Some women find that bleeding and spotting after treatment for ectopic pregnancy can last up to six weeks. Also, it can take a few cycles before your periods settle into a rhythm that is more normal for you. Women can find that their periods are heavier or lighter or longer or shorter than before - there’s no set pattern as such. Doctors consider cycles between 23/42 days to be within the normal parameters.
As you have some certain and are restarting IVF, you may want to consult with your doctor as to whether there are any effects on the IVF procedures.
