Charity Event

I suffered an ectopic pregnancy in July last year, and had surgery to remove my left tube.

I posted in this forum about how i was struggling and had so many lovely responses, thank you all.

Me and my boyfriend have been talking about doing something to raise money for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust, and were wondering if anyone had any ideas or advice on how or what we could do?

Thanks, Sian and Callum.

Dear Sian and Callum,

Out of such difficult circumstances, it is really lovely for you to be considering how you can help raise awareness. There are a number of ways to raise funds and the Trust provides guidance on their Fundraising webpage for some of them: https://www.ectopic.org.uk/get-involved/fundraising/.

I’ve seen examples of people doing marathons or other training events, holding EPTea parties or other communities events, and sharing their stories through both mainstream and social media channels.

You can also feel free to be in touch with the Trust with any specific questions or ideas you might be having, and someone will be able to speak with you (fundraisingcoordinatorept@yahoo.com).

With kind regards,

Michele
